30-Year Reunion Celebration

30 years??? You’ve got to be kidding!!!

No, we’re not kidding. You knew it was coming. There’s no escaping it. The year 2010 is the 30th anniversary of our graduation from Battle Creek Central. You won’t want to miss out on all the fun we have planned. Mark the weekend of this important event in your calendar right now:

Friday and Saturday, July 16 – 17, 2010

Come and join all your old classmates (fun intended) for a super weekend. Catch up with people you haven’t seen or heard from in three decades…reminisce with friends about the memories that helped shape your life. 7:00pm until whenever. This is just an informal get together, a chance for anyone who gets into town a little early to catch up with old friends before the main event on Saturday evening. It could be more fun than anything else we have planned, but make sure you don’t overdo it – we don’t want you to miss out on the rest of the weekend! Cost $10.00 at the door.

3:30pm to 4:30pm: High School Tour

For those of you who would like to reminisce and walk through the old hallways and byways of the high school, we have scheduled a tour. Due to the school being under construction we must tour the school at our scheduled time. Please meet by the skywalk at 3:15pm so we can start our tour promptly at 3:30pm.

6:00pm to 2:00am: Reunion Dinner – Main Event

Battle Creek Holiday Inn, Battle Creek, Michigan.

Cocktail hour begins at 6:00 pm, followed by a buffet style dinner at 7:00pm, and dancing from 8:30 to 1:00am. The cost of this event is $50 per person. This covers expenses incurred for the dinner, cost of the facility, musical entertainment and if we’re lucky it’ll leave a little bit left over to help fund the next reunion.

Doors open at 8:30pm for Dance only. Cost $10.00

Hotel information: Rooms will be held until JUNE 25th, reserve now! A lot of the committee are staying here also.

Come and Join Us!!! We want to see as many of our classmates on the weekend of July 16 and 17, 2010 as possible. If you can help us by providing us with contact information on other classmates who we might not have located yet, we would appreciate the help! For those of you who are unable to attend this delightful event please send us a memory CD of where you are now along with pictures and we will play it to share with the class. Welcome everyone to the 30th Class Reunion. I have enclosed the information for attending the 2-day event. Please fill out the enclosed form and mail back to me by July 5, 2010. Hope all of you can join in on the fun!

MEMORY BOOK: Please include a blurb of what you have been up to in the last 30 years. We will be putting together a memory book as we have had in the past. If you are unable to attend please send via email to any classmate the information to be included.

Note: Please indicate if whether or not it is ok to add your address, email and phone numbers to the memory book.
